Industry Energy Hub VDTC

The strategic planning and smart operation of technical installations requires an all-encompassing dimensioning, monitoring and control of multiple energy media. The innovative multi-sector control room of Fraunhofer IFF makes it possible to analyse and optimise complex infrastructure, taking into account the interactions. As a result, industrial flexibilities of arbitrary sites can be exploited, modelled and put to use in an economically optimal manner. The system is for instance demonstrated using the VDTC infrastructure complex as an Industry Energy Hub.
