BLS is an engineering company with about 90 employees for the three domains in which it is active: energy consulting, engineering for energy generating units and infrastructure as well as the planning for building technology. Our customers are the commercial sector as well as public clients with a focus on Germany, which we serve from our five locations in Berlin, Frankfurt a.M., Luxembourg, Greifswald and Eisenhüttenstadt.

Networked end consumers – flexibility, consumption characteristics and interface requirements
Together with EUREF consulting GmbH, BLS Energieplan GmbH supports GreenCycle GmbH in its capacity of subcontractor. GreenCycle is responsible for the energy management and energy procurement of the Schwarz Group. Within the WindNODE project, GreenCycle involves Lidl, Kaufland and MEG in WindNODE workstream 4.2 ‘networked end consumers – controllable loads and new services; assessment, control, marketing and billing of flexibility options’.
BLS Energieplan focuses on the exemplary load curve and flexibility analysis of various locations, the development of concepts for the management and evaluation of different consumer characteristics and flexibility options in the portfolio, the collection of internal and external requirements for the interfaces and support in prototype implementation and monitoring.
