Short description of the project contribution

Identifying flexibility potentials by analysing load profiles

GreenCycle (Lidl, Kaufland and MEG) develops solutions for internal and external assessment, control, marketing and billing of flexibility options in the scope of company-wide energy management.

Together with subcontractors Lidl, Kaufland and MEG, GreenCycle will analyse load profiles for different process utilities and consumer groups at typical locations and consider the management, assessment and offsetting of different load profiles. Furthermore, organisational and technical flexibility potentials are identified and a requirement specification for a SINTEG-ready interface is determined from the company's point of view. The SINTEG-ready interface is integrated in the smart energy system at exemplary locations as a prototype for grid and system support and the flexibility options are assessed during trial operation via the SINTEG-ready interface. The most important results will be communicated at selected showcase branch stores.

GreenCycle will also include the flexibility options of the MEG (Mitteldeutsche Erfrischungsgetränke) production facilities and present the results in the planned showcases.
