Established in Bitterfeld-Wolfen, envia THERM GmbH is a 100 % subsidiary of envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG.
The company develops and operates renewable energy installations (bioenergy, photovoltaics, hydro and wind). As a contracting service provider, it also provides district heating, refrigeration and process steam to customers in eastern Germany from its gas and steam turbine installations, heat plants, decentralised cogeneration units and heating systems.
Short description of the project contribution
Operational data from an installation operator for smart grid concepts
When developing solutions for the energy transition, operational data from an installation operator and opportunities to increase acceptance for installation technology have to be considered.
As an operator of heating grids and decentralised / renewable generating units in the eastern German states, envia THERM will contribute own operating experience and possible real time data from generating units to sub-project 3.2 for purposes of assessment / visualisation, as well as support studies on public acceptance, energy storage and heating grid potentials.
Insights into smart grid concepts can be derived and measures to improve acceptance can be developed from the operational data, operating experience and studies.
