ENERSTORAGE conceives, finances and markets Power-to-Heat units on an industrial scale.
These days, ENERSTORAGE owns Power-to-Heat installations with a capacity of over 30 MW within the 50Hert control area. This capacity is sold on the currently relevant flexibility markets, mainly on the operating reserve market.
Short description of the project contribution
In the sub-project 1.2 ‘Innovative Process Platform’, ENERSTORAGE will collaborate by participating in the assessment of the market mechanisms.
In addition to testing price review mechanisms depending on site-specific heat generation and incidental costs, ENERSTORAGE will contribute its experience in the field of ICT-supported connection and monitoring.
