WindNODE at E-world energy & water

Visit us in Hall 5, Booths 230 and 238

From 5 to 7 February, E-world energy & water, Europe's leading energy trade fair, will open its doors in Essen. Around 770 exhibitors from 26 countries will present their products and services at E-world under the motto "Smart City & Climate Solutions".

WindNODE presents itself together with the other SINTEG showcases designetz, NEW 4.0, enera and C/sells at the E-world.

You will find us at the SINTEG booth in hall 5 (booth 230 and 238).

In addition, you can find out about the results of WindNODE and the other SINTEG consortia at several events and discussions on the stages of E-world:

"SINTEG makes it more flexible - where do we stand with the market flexibility mechanisms?"

In the SINTEG showcases new flexibility mechanisms are developed and tested, especially for the purposes of network congestion management. The concepts of the five showcases are presented and first experiences from the test operation are discussed: Who is the operator of the platforms? Are liquid flexibility markets forming - and how do they interact with other markets? Are the approaches transferable to other regions?

"SINTEG connects - Update for the Energy Transition made in Germany" (in English)

Germany’s energy transition has been a greatly successful “electricity transition”. As we are entering the “2nd phase” of energy transition, upcoming challenges are threefold: (1) Integrating large amounts of intermittent renewables into a stable and secure electricity system, (2) decarbonizing energy demand in other sectors by means of “power-to-heat” and “power-to-X”, (3) making use of data in a smart energy system. SINTEG is the country’s largest R&D program for large-scale “smart energy showcases” which also includes a “regulatory sandbox” for flexibility use cases. The program is sponsored with EUR 230 mio. by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). All five SINTEG consortia will be portrayed by their respective project directors.

"SINTEG demonstrates it - experiences from the real laboratories of the energy transition"

The SINTEG showcases are the first major “Reallabore” for the energy transition in Germany. What experiences can be drawn after the first half of SINTEG with the format of the “Reallabor”? What role do the regulatory experimental clause SINTEG-V, the external representation and internationalization, the network effects play in the consortia? What lessons can be learned from SINTEG for setting up future “Reallabore” or for exporting the format?
