The aim is to bring together partners of WindNODE and pioneering projects on energy transition subjects. Therefore ENERGY SAXONY is searching for projects in Europe that are taking an active role in shaping the energy supply of the future by implementing innovative practices.

Participation is possible for projects or initiatives in a European country with one of the following key themes:

  • Pilot region focussing on the integration of large amounts of wind power
  • Flexible energy consumption in industrial, business, retail, or housing settings
  • Virtual power plants
  • Redesign of energy market mechanisms to allow for the trading of flexibility
  • Electrification of the heat and transport sectors
  • Digitisation of the distribution grid
  • Second life concepts for battery stacks

Further information on participation and process can be found in the flyer (pdf file) and at https://www.energy-saxony.net/en/network/projects/windnode.html.
